First aid kit and trauma kit.
OTC basics: pain, fever, allergy, stomach.
Glasses, hearing-aid batteries and backup power for devices.
Cold-storage plan for meds that need a fridge.

Skills and help

Someone has CPR and Stop the Bleed training.
Anyone who needs extra help is on the Special Needs Registry (verify before relying on it).
Note: a tablet or AI assistant can be wrong. Cross-check with the offline medical library and a professional.

Florida heat

Pick one cool room. Close blinds by day.
Battery fans and spare batteries.
Drink water often, even if not thirsty.
Heat exhaustion: heavy sweating, weakness, nausea, headache. Move to cool place, sip water, cool cloths.
Heat stroke: hot skin, confusion, fainting. This is an emergency. Call 911.
